The excitement of Barrett-Jackson returns to Las Vegas this September, bringing an impressive mix of collector cars, modern supercars and American muscle to the Las Vegas Convention Center. The 2026 Las Vegas Auction will take place September 10-12 in the Convention Center’s West Hall, giving automotive collectors and enthusiasts three days to experience some exceptional vehicles up close and watch highly anticipated cars cross the auction block.
This year’s event will offer something for nearly every type of collector. Among the highlights are a 1,001-horsepower Lamborghini and a Lightweight Carbon Series Ford GT from the personal collection of a World Series champion, several significant examples of classic Mopar muscle and a very special piece of Hollywood automotive history.
Elizabeth Taylor’s Final Car Comes to Las Vegas
One of the most intriguing vehicles appearing in Las Vegas won’t actually cross the auction block there.
A 2006 Maybach associated with legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor and known as her final car will be on display during the Las Vegas event, giving attendees a rare opportunity to see the celebrity-owned luxury automobile before it heads to Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale Auction.
The Maybach will later cross the auction block in Scottsdale, making its Las Vegas appearance a preview of a vehicle that combines automotive luxury with remarkable Hollywood provenance.
Maybach represented the pinnacle of luxury motoring during this period, and this 2006 Maybach 57 S is powered by a 5.5-liter V-12 engine producing 543-hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. The model was designed around an extraordinary level of passenger comfort, performance and exclusivity.
But in the collector-car world, provenance can make an automobile much more than the sum of its specifications. Taylor remains one of Hollywood’s most recognizable stars, and the connection to her final automobile gives this Maybach a story that extends well beyond the car itself.
1,001 Horsepower from Jacoby Ellsbury’s Collection
Modern performance will also command plenty of attention in Las Vegas.
An extremely rare 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto producing an astonishing 1,001 hp will be among the featured vehicles. The Lamborghini comes from the personal collection of retired Major League Baseball All-Star and two-time World Series champion Jacoby Ellsbury.
The Revuelto represents a new generation of Lamborghini performance, combining the drama of a naturally aspirated V12 with electrification to create the first production Lamborghini High Performance Electrified Vehicle.
With a combined output of 1,001 horsepower, the Revuelto delivers the type of performance expected from a modern flagship Lamborghini while marking an important transition in the history of the Italian automaker.
Its connection to Ellsbury adds another dimension for collectors who appreciate vehicles with notable ownership histories. During his MLB career, Ellsbury became an All-Star, won two World Series championships and established himself as one of baseball’s standout players of his era.
Lightweight Carbon Series 2019 Ford GT
Another modern supercar expected to generate attention is a Lightweight Carbon Series 2019 Ford GT.
The second-generation Ford GT was already an extraordinary machine, developed with extensive use of carbon fiber and powered by a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6. But the Carbon Series pushed Ford’s focus on lightweight performance even further.
Created for enthusiasts looking for an even more performance-focused version of the GT, the Carbon Series incorporated additional weight-saving features and exposed carbon-fiber components while still retaining enough comfort and convenience to remain road-friendly.
With its dramatic aerodynamic design, racing-inspired engineering and limited production, the modern Ford GT has become one of the most recognizable American supercars of its generation. The Lightweight Carbon Series takes that exclusivity another step further, making the 2019 example one to watch when Barrett-Jackson arrives in Las Vegas.
Mopar Muscle Takes the Stage
While the modern supercars bring incredible technology and four-digit horsepower, Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas will also celebrate one of the most exciting periods in American automotive history.
Several desirable Mopars are scheduled to cross the block, led by a 1971 Plymouth ’Cuda powered by a matching-numbers 440ci Six-Barrel engine backed by an A833 four-speed manual transmission. By 1971, the original muscle-car era was already beginning to wind down, making high-performance examples from the model year especially significant reminders of the horsepower wars that defined the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Another highlight will be a 1969 Dodge Daytona featuring its matching-numbers engine and automatic transmission. Few American automobiles are as instantly recognizable as the Daytona. Its enormous rear wing and aerodynamic nose were born from NASCAR competition, where manufacturers were searching for every possible advantage on high-speed superspeedways. Today, the Daytona’s radical appearance, racing history and limited production have made it one of the most celebrated automobiles of the muscle-car era.
Rounding out the highlighted Mopars is a 1970 Plymouth ’Cuda powered by a period-correct V8 backed by a matching-numbers four-speed manual transmission. The 1970 model year marked the introduction of Plymouth’s third-generation Barracuda and the arrival of the E-body ’Cuda that would become an icon of American muscle. More than half a century later, the aggressive proportions and wide range of high-performance V8 combinations continue to make these cars favorites among collectors.
Three Days of Collector-Car Excitement in Las Vegas
The variety of vehicles headed to Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas illustrates why the event continues to attract such a broad spectrum of automotive enthusiasts.
A visitor might find themselves standing beside a Hollywood icon’s Maybach one moment, examining the carbon-fiber construction of a modern Ford GT the next and then watching a big-block Plymouth ’Cuda rumble across the auction stage.
It is that combination of history, performance, celebrity provenance and automotive culture that makes a Barrett-Jackson event much more than a traditional collector-car auction.
The 2026 Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Auction takes place September 10-12 at the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall. Whether your interests lean toward modern 1,000-horsepower exotics, historically significant American muscle or automobiles with stories connected to some of the biggest names in entertainment and sports, this year’s Las Vegas event promises plenty worth seeing.
