Sometimes a glimpse of something is all you need to get excited. Or, perhaps it’s the word “new” that gets everyone’s attention. At the 2018 New York Auto Show that opens on March 28, Subaru will be ready to debut its new Forester. The name has been around for quite a while, but a fresh design always makes something familiar exciting again.
Spy photos have shown the general shape of the new Forester which resembles the current shape and from the released teaser photo, we know that it has a wraparound taillight. The Forester has sold well in the U.S. and has been a top seller for Subaru – totaling 177,563 sold in 2017. Only the Outback has sold more.
The Forester’s sales have started a bit slower than last year – amassing 22,488 units sold in the first two months. In 2017, during these same two months, 12% more Foresters were sold.
