The National Hardware Show is set to present the NHS Cook-Off again. Chefs representing exhibitors in our BBQ & Grilling category will go head-to-head in the NHS Backyard to see who has mastered the ultimate slider and appetizer. An attendee favorite, mouth-watering samples from some of the world’s greatest grillers are also served.

Event Host

Chuck Matto will serve as the host of the event. He is the conductor of Chucks FlavorTrain and is a self-taught BBQ pitmaster. He grew up in Napa where his culinary journey began. With a flair for fire and flavors and a personality to match, Chuck has showcased his skills on The Cooking Channels “Fire Masters” and battled his way to the finals on Season 4 of Food Networks “BBQ Brawl”. With over 3.5 million followers across social media, Chuck’s innovative approach to BBQ ignites a passion for grilling in every dish he creates.

Cooking Categories

The NHS Cook-Off features two categories: Sliders and Appetizer. The chefs will be preparing and cooking for each category with the combined judges’ points determining the Grand Champion.
