partypoker is hosting a new edition of Monster Series from April 29 to May 6. The second Monster Series has a new revamped structure and will feature a three-tier system of low, mid and high events.

The Series will run with 41 numbered events, and a total of 123 different tournaments. The eight-days is aimed at recreational and low- to mid-stakes players with buy-ins ranging from just $0.44 up to $33 with players able to choose from a range of different events and formats.

The schedule for this second Series has been honed to focus on the events that players find most appealing and will include a range of 6-max and 8-max Progressive Knockouts. Every day will have a distinct theme and a mix of regular, fast and turbo tournaments.

Each day will feature a flagship tournament that offers a total of $130,000 in guaranteed prizepools.

Both Sundays of the Series feature huge guarantees including the $300,000 guaranteed Monster Series Championship.

partypoker ambassador Natalia Breviglieri said, “I’m so looking forward to the upcoming Monster Series. I love these tournaments and really enjoyed competing in them last October. The popularity of that first Series shows that, like me, there are a lot of players who like playing at this level and the new series has tournaments with even lower buy-ins. I think that’s great; it means more players will get a chance to join in. It’s extra exciting that this new Monster Series features Ladies Events – these tournaments are a chance of women to compete against each other directly and I know there will be a great atmosphere.”

Managing Director of partypoker Tom Waters said: “When we first launched the Monster Series, it was in direct response to player feedback. Players told us they were keen to compete in a series of tournaments that offered a range of low to mid-stakes buy-in levels. This Series features total guarantees of more than $2,700,000 so this new edition will give thousands of players the chance to compete for serious prize money and will be a great run-up to the forthcoming POWERFEST!”
