SEMA 2022: EV Continues to Make Its Mark

The talk and displays of EV will certainly be in full force at this year’s SEMA Show. We can expect to see more features and activities that will showcase this emerging technology. EV certainly has an impact on the shaping of the automotive and aftermarket industry – we look forward to this year’s SEMA Show to learn about its current and future impact.

SEMA Electrified is a 21,000-sq.-ft. area at the SEMA Show and will be featuring solutions for electric vehicles (EV) platforms and conversions. Look for EV-related seminars, programs, and activities throughout the Las Vegas Convention Center during the four-day show. SEMA Electrified is located in North Hall, Booth 11268, and will feature more than 35 vehicles. Expect to see OEM vehicles, conversion components, late-model EV accessories, charging solutions, EV safety and service equipment, and education and training stages.

SEMA Electrified made its debut in 2019 at the show. From its initial 2,500-sq.-ft. footprint, the importance of EV education is demonstrated in becoming 8x larger in just three years time. “Everything about EV in the aftermarket is growing: Participation, interest, advancements,” said Luis Morales, SEMA director of vehicle technology. “This year’s SEMA Show will have more EV-related products and activities than ever before.”
