Barrett-Jackson Makes a Strong Midwest Debut with Inaugural Columbus Auction

Supercar Rims

Barrett-Jackson brought its signature collector-car excitement to the Midwest this summer, completing a successful inaugural Columbus Auction at the Ohio Expo Center & State Fairgrounds in Columbus, Ohio. Held June 25-27, 2026, the event marked Barrett-Jackson’s first collector-car auction in Columbus and delivered an impressive mix of American muscle, modern supercars, customs, and trucks.

The three-day auction demonstrated the strength and diversity of today’s collector-car market, generating $38.1 million in total auction sales. A total of 550 collectible vehicles generated more than $37 million in sales. For Barrett-Jackson, the Columbus event also represented an important expansion into the Midwest. The Ohio Expo Center & State Fairgrounds provided a large venue for not only the auction itself, but the broader automotive lifestyle experience Barrett-Jackson has become known for, including exhibitor displays, and sponsor experiences.

Among the prestigious top sellers were:

2015 Porsche 918 Spyder – sold for $2.695 million. One of only 918 produced, the hybrid hypercar combined a naturally aspirated 4.6-liter V-8 with electric motors to produce 887 horsepower. The Liquid Metal Silver vehicle offered in Columbus was the 57th Porsche 918 produced and showed 13,091 miles.

Ford GTs – A 2021 Ford GT ’66 Heritage Edition brought $1.1 million, becoming the second-highest-selling vehicle of the event. One of just 50 examples of the ’66 Heritage Edition, the car had traveled only 381 miles. Two additional Ford GTs landed among the auction’s five highest sales. A one-owner 2022 Ford GT, finished in Diamond Blue and showing just 41 miles, sold for $913,000, while a 2021 Ford GT Studio Collection Series Edition brought $863,500. The latter was one of only 20 Studio Collection examples produced for 2021. Together, the three Ford GTs generated more than $2.87 million, making the model one of the defining stories of Barrett-Jackson Columbus.

1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 – Sold for $1.045 million, it became the third vehicle of the auction to cross the seven-figure mark. The Candy Red Mustang retained its matching-numbers 429ci S-code V8, four-speed manual transmission and 3.91 Traction-Lok rear axle and showed just 4,435 miles. The sale was especially significant because of the Boss 429’s place in Mustang history.

Charitable Vehicles – Charitable giving was also part of the Columbus auction. A custom 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 Anduril Edition sold for $150,000, with the sale benefiting the Call of Duty Endowment, an organization that helps veterans transition into high-quality civilian careers. The one-of-one truck featured a military-inspired design along with extensive off-road modifications. A 2022 Ford Bronco generated another $90,000 for the Joe Burrow Foundation. Together, the two Columbus charity vehicles raised $240,000, helping push the cumulative amount Barrett-Jackson has helped raise for charitable causes to more than $172 million.

Next, Barrett-Jackson returns to Las Vegas for its annual Fall auction, Sept. 10-12, 2026.
